Eiscafe Venezia in Dresden

The ice cream was delicious. Rather expensive in terms of portion size. All coffee drinks are also available with soy milk ... + 1 € extra charge !!! I actually find that unbelievable! Unfortunately there were other things in the current situation that were not taken into account ... What a shame!

The location is very nice. The ice cream sundae are very small and significantly overpriced in proportion. There are better ice cream parlors in Dresden.

Especially delicious ice cream! We had two "on hand" and found cinnamon, dark chocolate and peanuts particularly tasty.

Really poor customer service. The guy behind the eis counter mocked me as I walked away with my cone. I didn’t see it but my friend saw and heard it. Never going back here!

Friendly service, tasty coffee and chocolate with a view of the city :) prices at the table higher than take-away, I have not encountered this before.

Unfortunately the service and quality is not as good as it used to be. Since the new operators took over, the ice cream no longer tastes good and the friendliness of the staff leaves a lot to be desired. Ice cream is a small ball and to charge 1.40 € for it is outrageous. The furnishings in the café are no longer as nice and well-kept as they were used to. A visit is no longer recommended. There are much better ice cream parlors and the competition never sleeps.

At first we wanted a takeout service but then we wanted to sit for a short time because of my broken leg. Although there are very few customers in the store, the waiter said we couldn't sit down because we hadn't ordered from the table and their bosses wouldn't allow it. Although we said that I had to sit for a short time because my foot was in pain and we were already tipping, they were very rude.

Driving from Lorsch to Dresden to drink a coffee latte and eat a delicious spaghetti ice cream? Why not, in times of Corona the espresso under the Eiffel Tower has moved a long way off. The view of the Golden Rider is really nice. And when the ice cream tastes as delicious as in the Venezia ice cream parlor, it's easy to dream of Cavallino on Lido di Jesolo. For the location, the quality and the ambience, the price is completely okay. Not only did the wait staff look good, they were pleasantly friendly too. Of course, we didn't just go to Dresden for coffee and an ice cream. But if you can't think of anything to do ... that would be a good reason to visit Dresden ??

Very tasty and large sundaes of ice cream, great menu with different types of coffee, drinking chocolate, cocktails, milkshakes, etc ... breakfast and small dishes are offered here to eat. Then there is a huge selection on the sundae. One looks tastier than the other (always photos included), many variations in the range. The ice cream tastes really delicious! Prices are a bit more expensive but you really get a large sundae for that. The outside seating area is also very nice, comfortable chairs and well designed. With a view of the Golden Rider. Inside you also have a nice atmosphere. The ice cream parlor has an extra counter where you can get coffee and ice cream scoops or ice cream sundaes to go. Prices are also much cheaper there. However, a scoop of ice cream costs € 1.70 there. (In the photos the ice cream sundaes cost € 9.30 and € 8.90)

The location on the Goldener Reiter is very good and the fact that the café has existed for many, many years speaks for itself. It's especially nice that they also offer vegan ice cream. Not just sorbet, but also chocolate.

Sometimes you're lucky with the service and sometimes not. The ice cream is a bit more expensive but always tasty. And the location is just great.

Weird combinations like basil and lemon, what's that about? Tiny scoops. You are not allowed to sit at a table even if you buy ice creams. Nothing to do with Corona. They only value customers who spend €€€.

The first house on the spot. It's been around since 1980 or something. Good product, only the peach ice cream tastes like something else. Good service. Large outdoor area. But also benches for street sales.

Most of the employees are not covering their nose properly, some are not wearing a face mask at all. Please take COVID seriously and wear a face mask not much to ask for is it? Your not just risking your customers safety but also your business.

When I walked in to the to-go part of this place the employee behind the counter seemed to be having a rough day which I understood and apart from that he did not speak English so I ordered the smallest and easiest gelato possible. When it was time to pay the man said the total in German but my husband told him politely that he did not understand so this triggered the employee to repeatedly YELL the total amount in German at us until we gave up and gave him more than I’m sure the amount was which led him to give us change. Very rude. I have never been yelled at by another adult due to something so minimal.

Today at just before 10 p.m. very quiet, few guests, nice menu, very large and cozy ice cream parlor, friendly service, ice cream parlor good and not too expensive, but not so many new types of ice cream to choose from for a hand ice cream that you can still eat on the go, taste mediocre , sorry, but there is definitely better ice cream.

Rude staff. Customer service is a foreign word. I wanted to have an ice cream with friends. 3 times my request was not available. I was not offered an alternative but was even annoyed that I had to look for an alternative. Sorry nil. You'd rather run away from the customer here. The staff seems overwhelmed, especially on summer days. There is no fun spending money there. Never again!!

Ice cream and coffee was good as always. A star is deducted because it was very loud in the cafe. Yes of course it was full but you should urgently do something for the acoustics. Every chair that is moved resounds through the ear canal. That also makes it uncomfortable.

Here I go to eat ice cream with my girlfriend from time to time. The service is friendly and quick. The ice cream tastes excellent and extra wishes, such as. B. chocolate sauce, are promptly met.

Although they have a proper handmade espresso machine out front they seem to employ an full automatic machine in the back. The coffee was incredibly bad.

Good ich, good Coffee and often crowded on the weekends. The location is beautiful next to the statute of the golden rider and the long car free road till Albertplatz.

Very expensive, when you compare price and quaility. In the end of November when I go, almost nobody in the cafe around 12o'clock.

I just had an icecream here (Zitrone flavored). It was too good.

Great coffee and reasonable price

After the second visit, I wanted to raise my score to the maximum. There is a large selection of desserts, especially many varieties of ice cream. All desserts are very beautifully decorated. Cozy modern interior. Many tables for different companies. There are quiet secluded areas and an outdoor lounge. And for lovers of fresh air there are many tables outside. There are two entrances to the cafe, you will not pass by. Recommend.

Good icre cream jolly staff by and large though the floor waiter was a bit dicky about asking us not to sit with a cone. I would have paid for a glass if he'd asked nicely but well that's officiousness for you.

A lot of cakes and very good coffee

Our favorite eiscafé place in Dresden. Friendly and authentic Italian style service. Great drinks. Order an Aperol or Hugo during aperitivo time and you get a plate of mini pizza bites automatically. Perfect for relaxing and watching the world go by. Good place to meet for drinks before dinner.

Great place to get an ice cream. Great location. Offers standard scoops in a lot of flavours or some very fancy and delicious ice creams.

Spectacular gelato! If you're in Dresden, you must try it!
